Forbidden Attraction Chapter 14

Luna was wondering where Mephisto was taking her and was beginning to feel anxious with Amaimon in the car. She avoided eye contact with Mephisto to prevent any conversation that Amaimon could use against her but for what she could see Amaimon was indifferent to whatever happens in the night. “Stop the car,” Mephisto said breaking the awkward silence. Luna got out of the limousine once it stopped alongside Mephisto and Amaimon and saw she was at a mall, and frankly it was a mall where she couldn’t even afford breathing the air in it. Luna was awed with what she saw, she even begin to doubt if a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans were the right outfits for the place. All the stores had marble entrance with platinum and golden designs on the name of the store, the floors were shinier than a diamond. Then she saw that Mephisto stopped at a sports store for dancers, gymnast, and ext.  “Mephisto, what are we doing here?” Luna said. “These dresses I already have my ice skating dress.”



“I was informed by Amaimon that he broke your dress for the last performance,” He explained. “So, to pay for what he did you are getting a replacement until the dress is fixed.”



“Mephisto, this is too much I can’t possibly accept this.”



“You are accepting it because we are already here and we are not leaving empty handed; now, let’s get those dresses.”  Mephisto grabbed the girl and started grabbing dresses for Luna to try. It was dress after dress and Luna’s arms were growing tired of each time Mephisto placed a new dress on her. After thirty minutes of search, Luna saw a one sleeve purple dress. It was made with lace fabric, but the chest area was covered with rhinestones falling down like rain until it reaches the waits. She kept a close eye on it ignoring Mephisto’s words.



The girls with enough dresses tried them all and it took her an hour, but it somehow didn’t feel right. The first one was a pink dress with designs she could barely stand, followed by a neon green with black designs which gave her a headache and then with more pink dresses. After trying on all the dresses, Mephisto was again with Luna searching for the right dress. While looking in the last place they left; Luna stared at the mannequin that had the dress she loved. Mephisto kept blabbing on and on about what does she really likes and saw how she was ignoring him by keeping a close eye on the purple dress. “Luna,” he said grabbing her attention. “Why don’t you look over on the rack behind me and see if you find something you like.”  



“Is it really necessary I try so many dresses tonight?” She said. “I have school tomorrow and I can’t afford to miss another class once again.”



“Don’t worry Prinzessin, everything will be okay just look for the dresses and I’ll continue over here,” He said. Once he saw that Luna was on the other side of the store he grabbed the purple dress and mixed it along with others he picked up. He called for Luna and gave him the dresses to finally try them on. With a tiresome face, Luna dragged herself to the fitting room and tried once again dresses she didn’t like until she saw the purple dress in the pile. “Luna, did you find one you like?” He said.



“Um, yes actually…” she said.



“Can we see?”



Luna stepped out of the fitting room and she looked stunning with the purple dress, it complimented her eyes and her figure, or at least that was what Mephisto thought. For the first time, he couldn’t keep her eyes off of her and kept staring with such awed he couldn’t even describe it. “I think this is the right dress,” She said. “I like it very much.”



“Then it’s settled we are going to buy the dress,” Mephisto said.  “Go ahead and change so we can buy the dress and buy you dinner before you leave to the dorm.”



“Mephisto, you don’t really have…”



He cut her off to say, “I don’t mind Luna. Now, go change while I buy the dress Amaimon will keep you company for a while.”



She went back to the fitting room and handed the dress before she continued putting her jeans and sweatshirt on and put back all the dresses Mephisto picked up. Once she got in Amaimon and Mephisto were alone talking. “You are getting awfully attached to that girl,” Amaimon said.



“I am not, she’s just a student who has been tortured by us for so long she deserves a break. Mephisto said.



“Whatever.”



Mephisto started at his annoyed brother and said, “Is there something else you like to say?”



“No, but I saw our little brother surprised when we left with the girl.”



“That is between Luna and Rin.”





“Then why were you persistent for three years to have her in the academy?”



“Because, she has great skills in the ice skating sport that could actually help the school be known around Japan.”



“Right, Big Brother?”



“Yes, Amaimon?”



“Do you love her?”
